When You Arrive

Most nationalities receive a free 30-day tourist visa on arrival — you'll need a passport valid for at least one month beyond your stay and a confirmed booking. Immigration is straightforward; the Imuga traveller declaration is completed online within 96 hours before arrival.

Once you're through, our driver meets Hulhumalé guests in the arrivals area with a name board. For Himmafushi and Gulhi, we walk you to the jetty for your boat — speedboats run to a schedule we confirm with your booking, and the public ferry is the budget option (it does not run on Fridays).

Local SIMs and eSIMs are sold in arrivals; US dollars and cards are widely accepted, and there are ATMs at the airport and in Hulhumalé. If you land late at night, tell us — boats can be arranged, and Hulhumalé check-in is 24 hours.

Ferry timetables change with seasons and public holidays — treat published times as indicative and confirm with us before you fly.
