Make Yourself at Home

Vilu Maldives is a small, family-run hospitality group. We began with Vilu Rest in Hulhumalé — fifteen rooms and a café a few minutes from the airport — and grew the way we like to do things: slowly, and only when guests kept asking.

In 2026 we opened Vilu Central in the heart of Hulhumalé with Vilu Royale at street level, took our keys to the surf island of Himmafushi, and opened Beach Stone on Gulhi, where the reef really does begin at your door. Four stays, two kitchens, and a boat that knows the way.

We are not a resort, and don't try to be. We're on local islands, where actual life happens — which means honest prices, neighbours, fresh fish, and a Maldives you can walk around in. What a resort does with scale, we try to do with attention.
